Thank you to all who attended the 2nd Annual Bowen Island Classic Motor Show held on Saturday July 21, 2018. We welcomed close to 400 visitors to our countryside venue, to enjoy and appreciate vehicle design esthetics of the past in combination with art installations, music, pizza, beer, wine and summer sodas while relaxing in an informal pastoral setting.

The Motor Show was open to any motorized vehicles born 1978 or earlier. On display we had 33 vehicles ranging from a 1928 Ford Model A Phaeton, to a 1960 Harley Davidson Topper Scooter, to a 1969 Triumph GT8.  This years featured vehicle was a 1953 Mercedes Benz 220. In total we had 16 cars, 9 trucks, 5 motorcycles and 3 electric cruisers.

 

This year we were happy to provide $1456.19 for the  Bowen Island Museum & Archives.

The day was made possible by many generous individuals and company Sponsors who provided draw prizes or services for free or at reduced costs. Please say thank you to them by supporting all on and off Island sponsors.
