The 1st Annual Bowen Island Classic Motor Show was held on Saturday July 22, 2017. This charitable event was created by the owners of a small island property. Their countryside venue welcomed over 300 visitors to enjoy and appreciate vehicle design esthetics of the past in combination with art installations, music, pizza, beer & wine while relaxing in an informal pastoral setting.

The Motor Show was open to all motorized vehicles born 1977 or earlier. This included cars, trucks and motorcycles ranging from a 1928 Dodge Victory to 1956 Continental Mark II to a BMW R65 motorbike nicknamed El Bastardo, and many others. In total we had 16 cars, 6 trucks, 7 motorcycles and 3 electric cruisers.

We are happy to report that $1,751.84 was raised for the Bowen Island Museum & Archives.
